Over a Century of Local Baseball Excellence
Founded in 1921 in Healdsburg, California, the Healdsburg Prune Packers have not only become a historic part of our Sonoma County community but also a powerhouse in regional and state baseball. Thanks to the founding support of the Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce and the City of Healdsburg, we've grown into Sonoma County's top team and a nationally recognized force in collegiate baseball.

A Legacy of Success and Recent Triumphs
Our team's history spans over a hundred years, marked by the development of over 70 professional players. In recent years, we've continued our tradition of excellence, dominating the region and state. The Prune Packers have proudly won 6 North Division Championships in the last 6 years and secured 3 consecutive State Championships over the last 3 years.

 

Our Leadership

Under the expert guidance of Joey Gomes, a former professional baseball player, our team is a beacon of talent and sportsmanship. The Prune Packers also thrive because of our dedicated board of directors, assistant coaches, staff, and, importantly, our community supporters. Our current Board President is beloved longtime Healdsburg local, Richard Bugarske.

Historic Recreation Park: Our Home Turf
Every June and July, the historic Recreation Park in the heart of Healdsburg comes alive with the energy of Prune Packers baseball. Our games are a celebration of family-friendly, affordable entertainment, set against the backdrop of a community united by its love for the game.
