Healdsburg Prune Packers Baseball Club was formed in 2014 in order to carry forward the long history and tradition of the Healdsburg Prune Packers baseball team, originally formed in 1921.  The Prune Packers are a wood-bat, collegiate summer baseball team, whose roster consists of college players of the highest skill level, from predominantly Division I college programs, honing their skills over the summer for the next level of baseball.  Prune Packers consistently are drafted into Major League Baseball.

The Prune Packers played then and now at Healdsburg’s historic Recreation Park, which has been renovated for comfort and style while retaining the feel of an old-time baseball stadium. Healdsburg is approximately 65 miles north of San Francisco, in the heart of the wine country.

Healdsburg Prune Packers Baseball Club is a 501(c)(3) public charity. Our mission is to provide student athletes with a positive learning experience that develops their social, academic and athletic skills while providing fans with the finest amateur baseball and a rollicking good time! Donations are fully tax-deductible.  Donors and business sponsors may be recognized by banners at the ballpark, logos and listings in our souvenir program, and posters that promote sponsored games.  There are many ways to support your Packers, both cash and non-cash. If you’d like to sponsor or support your Packers in another way, please reach out to the Board of Directors by emailing to Richard@PrunePackers.org or call Richard @ 707-540-1237

None of our Board of Directors is compensated in any way, and we rely on these and other dedicated volunteers to carry out the many tasks that are required to make Prune Packers baseball possible.  We always need more volunteers
